Sealy

Organized by Dont Bully My Breed

Sealy loves to fly and it shows! :)))

She just cant believe how lucky she got. Rescued last minute from a high kill facility in Georgia that still gasses animals, Sealy was FLOWN from GA to IL in two legs (GA to IN, IN to IL), thanks to Pilots for Paws :)

This poor little girl has no ears as a result of scissors being used to hack her ears off. She is one of THE sweetest pit bulls Ive ever had the pleasure of fostering and is like glue to my side. When she barks for your attention, she sounds like a seal, hence her name :)
She had been used as a breeder and her puppies taken away from her over and over. When she was spayed, due to issues with so many previous pregnancies, she had problems with her surgery two days later, and needed a second emergency surgery (on a Sunday, or course :). This, in addition to her being heartworm positive, has made her one of our more expensive rescues as of late. Her bill is currently just over $500. Can you please consider sponsoring her or making a donation to her care?

Donations can be made online to: http://www.thetruthaboutpitbulls.org/donation.php

or please email dontbullymybreed@aol.com for address for vet clinic to send checks.

We also have set up a donation chip in page for Sealy at this url: http://thegreenvillethree.chipin.com/sealy
